Inner Loop

Highland Village: This classy shopping center is a must-shop destination for home furnishings.

Rice Village: Near Rice University and the Museum District, Rice Village remains one of the city’s oldest, best-loved shopping enclaves and home to anchor stores like Gap, Just Add Water, Banana Republic, Express and more.

River Oaks Shopping Center: River Oaks offers top-notch shopping. Stores like Chico’s, Talbot’s, upscale resale shops like Twice New, artsy outposts such as Mad Potter (paint your own pottery) and Texas Gallery make spending a day in River Oaks fun.

The Park Shops: This three-story mall in downtown Houston’s center features more than 75 shops and restaurants, including The Sharper Image, Bailey Banks & Biddle, Sterling Armadillo, Brooks Brothers and Waldenbooks.

Foley’s Downtown: Occupying the same location since the 1950s, Foley’s department store in downtown Houston dates back to the early 20th century.

Uptown

The Galleria: This is one of the crown jewels of the Houston shopping scene.

Uptown Park: This Euro-style shopping center is just a couple of blocks from The Galleria. Ample parking and architecture, accessorized by fountains and mini-gardens, make it a breath of fresh air.

West Side

Memorial City Mall: Newly renovated and located on the west side of the city, Memorial City Mall is home to a new Lord & Taylor, a new Foley’s flagship store, Dillard’s and Target Greatland.

Katy Mills: This outlet mall/retailer/ entertainment complex is a must for any shopper.

First Colony Mall: Located in Fort Bend County on Hwy. 59, this deluxe mall is a popular shopping destination southwest of Houston with more than 120 merchants, including Dillard’s, JC Penney and Mervyn’s.

North Side

Deerbrook Mall: This mall in the North Houston suburb of Humble offers an impressive selection of retailers and entertainment options, including an AMC 24 movie theater.

Greenspoint Mall: Anchored by Dillard’s, Foley’s and Sears, this huge mall offers 140 specialty and food court merchants.

Old Town Spring Shopping Village: Shop for home décor, art, antiques and other unique items at more than 150 merchants in this enchanting Victorian village just off I-45.

South Side
